In communal Amana (1855-1932) each of the seven villages had its own hearth bakery to provide fresh bread to the large kitchen houses where community members dined together.

Today, the Amana Bakeries continue the tradition of providing quality baked goods, including a variety of specialty breads, freshly baked pastries and delicious cookies.  We also invite you to try our homemade preserves and noodles.
